Coaching for Lawyers Law Practice Tip

Law Practice Tip #268
December 19, 2011

Reframe your thinking about networking

If, when you think of networking, you think, "I hate networking," then reduce your stress by reframing that kind of thinking to something more positive. How about: "I can network — I can do anything that's important."

If you think, "I don't have enough time to network," how about: "I can fit networking in while doing other things."

If you think, "I don't know how to network," how about: "I can learn how to network."

How do you want to change your thinking about networking?
