Law Practice Tip #300

April 15, 2013

Acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments and milestones

Most busy professionals don't take enough time to pause and savor, enjoy, or celebrate their achievements or milestones. When you do relax and savor the good things that you've succeeded at, you make your work more enjoyable, rewarding and stress free (or at least stress reduced).

Take me; I needed to be reminded to acknowledge that this is my 300th law practice tip! Once reminded I was pleased to celebrate this milestone and accomplishment. Truthfully, I'm very pleased and proud to acknowledge that for the past 12 years I've been writing a bi-weekly law practice tip for you.

I'm also pausing to reflect that you — my readers — helped me reach this milestone. One of the things that encourages me to keep writing the tips is the ongoing acknowledgment that I receive when one of you especially likes a tip and writes to let me know. Thank you! Your acknowledgment and readership helps make my work all the more enjoyable and rewarding.

Writing this 300th tip to remind all of us to acknowledge our accomplishments is another way for me to celebrate this milestone.

What's something you've done or achieved that you want to acknowledge and celebrate?
