Look your clients in the eye

A study by Brian Wansink* found that "eye contact with cereal spokes-characters increased feelings of trust and connection to the brand."

So, if it this kind of marketing works with cereal, have your website picture look your reader in the eye to increase trust and connection.

In "Psst. Look Over Here" Kate Murphy points out that research from as far back as the 1980s indicates that people who make eye contact are perceived as more likable and trustworthy.
