Replace your excuses with a plan

  • Instead of "I don't have enough work" (an excuse), create a plan to get more work.
  • Instead of "I don't have anyone capable of helping me" (an excuse), create a plan to find people who are capable of helping you.
  • Instead of "I don't have time to network (an excuse), create a plan to make the time to network.
  • If your excuse is "I don't like to plan, you definitely need to figure out (aka plan) how to create the habit of planning. Consider getting help.

Excuses stop you from moving forward. Planning and following through with your plan is key to effective productivity.
