Improve your marketing knowledge by knowing your competition

One of the challenging components of any business plan is knowing your competition. When you take the time to research your competition you will find that information indispensable to help you grow and improve your practice.

Answer these questions to help you know your competition:

  • Who are the other guys/gals/firms that do what you do? Or what you want to do?
  • How do they run their practice?
  • How well are they doing? How do you know?
  • What are their advantages? Disadvantages?
  • How do they attract clients?
  • What makes you better than them?
