Schedule 20 minutes on your calendar as an unbreakable commitment to plan your week

If you don't already schedule at least 20 minutes a week for planning your next week's work, start right now by choosing the best time to set aside 20 minutes for planning and schedule it in your calendar as an unbreakable commitment.

The best way to be in control of your work load and keep your stress in check is to proactively think about and plan how you will handle what's on your plate. Your brain will appreciate the planning process, and once you're done planning you should notice a decrease in your stress level rather than an increase in it.

Many of my busiest clients have chosen Sunday as the day to spend 20 minutes planning their week. Others have also added Wednesday, meaning they plan twice a week. I myself prefer Monday morning.

What day and time do you want to schedule your 20 minute planning session?
